On July 10, 2014 at 12:37am the Fond du Lac County Communications Center received a 911 call from N5724 Fairvew rd in the Township of Lamartine from a female party by the name of Janet Voskuil stating she needed help and then the phone disconnected. Upon arrival, deputies observed the residence fully engulfed in fire and the home owner Janet Voskuil standing outside the residence. The structure is a total loss and the fire does not appear to be suspicious. Responding to the scene were Lamartine Fire and 1st responders, Rosendale Fire, Oakfield Fire and 1st responders, North Fond du Lac Ambulance, Eldorado Fire, Town of Fond du Lac Fire, Brandon/Fairwater Fire, City of Fond du Lac Fire and Ambulance and the Red Cross.
