Jesse Kremer is the winner of the Republican primary for the 59th Assembly District seat. With 77 percent of the precincts reporting Kremer had received 38 percent of the votes to 25 percent for Ralph Prescott

Kremer said he decided to run for the legislature because he is concerned about the direction the country is headed. Kremer says he thinks Wisconsin is headed in the right direction and says government spending and creating jobs are his top two priorities. Kremer says he is pro-life, and supports repealing the common core education. Kremer is a private pilot, and volunteer firefighter with the Kewaskum Fire Department. He and his wife have three daughters. The 59th Assembly District includes portions of Fond du lac, Washington, Sheboygan and Calumet counties.
