A Rock County Circuit Court judge is the first announced candidate for a seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Judge James Daley says he plans to run against justice Ann Walsh Bradley when her term expires next year. “I chose this course because over the last 20 years I’ve watched the decisions coming out of our Supreme Court and justice Bradley has consistently been in the group of folks who have voted in cases in which they were the majority that were not real good for law enforcement,” Daley said. Daley says he’s also concerned about the dynamics between the justices pointing to a physical confrontation between justices Prosser and Bradley following an argument over Act 10. “What I see is a group that has not controlled their emotions and let their emotions take over their thought process.” Daley was a guest on AM 1170’s Between the Lines program.
