One person was seriously injured in a two vehicle accident in Fond du Lac County Friday morning. Rescue personnel were called to the scene at the intersection of Hwy’s 23 and G in the township of Forest. The crash occurred when a southbound vehicle on Hwy G, pulled from a stop sign into the path of a vehicle traveling westbound on Hwy 23. The vehicle traveling southbound on Hwy G was operated by Duane Kandler of St. Cloud, he was transported to St. Agnes Hospital with serious injuries by City of Fond du Lac Paramedics. The vehicle westbound on Hwy 23 was operated by Chloe Reed of Sheboygan, she was transported to Sheboygan Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. Both operators were wearing seatbelts, there were no other passengers in either vehicles. Also assisting at the scene were Wisconsin State Patrol, St. Cloud Fire and Mt. Calvary Fire and Ambulance.
