The Fond du Lac city council vice president says she thinks its time to rethink the rules for who can sit on the city’s ethics board. The council voted last week to postpone a vote on filling an ethics board vacancy that would allow a member of the board to live outside the city. Lorrigan says other alternatives may be allowing someone who not in the Fond du Lac County bar association or who is retired from the legal profession or eliminating term limits for ethics board members. The council will take up the resolution at its September 24th meeting.
