The Department of Public Works would like to inform the motoring public of the closure of the Forest Avenue Bridge between Military Road and Macy Street. The closure will begin Tuesday, September 16th at 7:00 am and will remain closed approximately one week.The bridge will be closed to vehicle traffic due to maintenance on the bridge approach. The public is asked to plan an alternate route during this time as there will not be a marked detour.
