A Waupun man escaped serious injuries when he was struck by a mini van. Police chief Dale Heeringa says the accident happened about 3pm Wednesday at the intersection of West Lincoln and Pattee Drive. “…a witnesses account he was catapaulted into the air a short distance and landed on the ground in front of the van,” Heeringa said. The pedestrian, a 25 year old Waupun man, was transported to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.
