Two Fond du Lac restaurants are closing their doors. Commonwealth Companies has announced Trinity restaurant and Commonwealth Coffee Company and Deli are closing. Commonwealth says in a press release that the businesses are closing because they were not able to meet customers’ expectations. Commonwealth says that coupled with concerns in the community of the company’s involvement in too many local ventures eroded sales. “Given Commonwealth’s growing success outside the city and state the logical conclusion is to remain focused on our core business-real estate development and construction,” according to the release. The release says Trinity will continue operations until December 13th. The coffee shop and deli will close November 14th.
