12-3-14 berlin homicide suspect bound over for trial

GREEN LAKE, Wis. (AP) — A Berlin man accused of killing his estranged wife and her boyfriend has been bound over for trial.  Thirty-three-year-old Nicholas Tuinstra appeared in Green Lake County court Tuesday for a preliminary hearing. The court found probable cause and bound him over for trial.  Tuinstra faces two counts of first-degree intentional homicide in the September shooting deaths of Melissa Tuinstra and Justin Daniels, both 28. The victims were shot multiple times at Melissa Tuinstra’s apartment in downtown Berlin.  A criminal complaint say officers located 14 9-millimeter casings at the scene.
