Fond du Lac police say an 11 year old boy admitted to police officers that he made up a story about being abducted after attempting to run away from home. The boy’s father called police Monday afternoon to report his son didn’t come home from school. About an hour later police received a call from someone who reported seeing a young child riding a BMX bike in the rain along Highway D. The boy initially told police someone forced him into a vehicle and later dropped him off on the highway. He later admitted to making up that story.
