MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Top Wisconsin Democrats say Republican Gov. Scott Walker is distracted by his exploration of a presidential run, and he should be focused on solving the state’s $2.2 billion budget shortfall. Democratic state Senate and Assembly leaders, as well as state Democratic Party Chairman Mike Tate, spoke out on Monday, the day before Walker is set to deliver his State of the State speech. Walker said last week that he won’t reveal many details in the speech about his plans for solving the state’s looming budget problem. Those will come next month.
