On Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at 9:19 p.m. the Fond du Lac Fire Department was dispatched to a report of fire in a vacant building off of Forest Avenue between the railroad tracks and the river. Upon arrival firefighters found a small fire in a vacant building that caused moderate damage to the floor of the structure. Whether the fire was intentional or accidental it was caused by human intervention. The Fond du Lac Police Department assisted with traffic and scene control.
