More than a dozen cats rescued from a Campbellsport area trailer home earlier this month have been euthanized. The Fond du Lac Animal Shelter manager says 15 of the 42 cats removed from the trailer suffered from multiple medical problems and were euthanized. The rest of the cats remain at the shelter and are receiving veterinary treatment. Meanwhile the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate to determine if any animal neglect charges against the owner will be forwarded to the District Attorney.
