Two of three men arrested in a deer “thrill kill” case in Green Lake County have been charged. Nineteen year old Grant Boese of Ripon and 18 year old Steven Steger of Princeton are charged with multiple hunting and gun related charges. Boese faces 128 charges including failing to obtain a deer hunting license, hunting after revocation, illegal shining and discharging a firearm from a vehicle. Steger faces 74 hunting and gun-related charges. A third man, 18 year old Cody Johnston of Green Lake has not yet been officially Authorities say the men participated in the “thrill killing” of 15 deer in November exchanged photos of their kills, kept empty shell casings from each kill, and took two of the animals to a Boese and Steger will make initial appearances in Green Lake County Circuit Court on Feb. 9.
