A man and woman from Oshkosh have been arrested in connection with a robbery at the Guaranty Bank in Fond du Lac last month. The Guaranty Bank inside the West Johnson Street Pick N Save store was robbed on Sunday March 15th and assistant police chief Steve Klein says the suspects, a 26 year old man and 35 year old woman, were arrested Tuesday night in Oshkosh. Klein says the male suspect allegedly entered the bank and gave a note to the teller demanding money. Klein says police are continuing their investigation, including whether the pair may have been involved in similar robberies elsewhere. Meanwhile police are continuing to look for the person responsible for a robbery at Hometown Bank on Peters Avenue. That bank was robbed March 24th, about an hour before a shootout left a state patrol trooper and the gunman dead.
