A Campbellsport school referendum has gone down to defeat. Voters rejected the $25 million building referendum 1,429 no votes to 1,137 yes votes. School administrator Paul Amundson says the school board will now review the results and decide what the next step will be. A major portion of the project involved demolition and replacing a section of the middle-high school that is more than 80 years old. Amundson says the needs aren’t going to go away.
