A challenger, incumbent and appointed councilmember were all victorious in Tuesday’s race for Fond du lac city counci. Greg Giles who was appointed to the council last summer received the most votes with 2,544. “I’m very thankful that people believe I have some leadership that I can bring to the city council and I’m honored,” Giles told WFDL news. Challenger Brian Kolstad was close behind with 2,469 votes. Incumbent Cathryn Block was re-elected with 1965 votes…102 votes ahead of challenger Kay Miller.
