Fond du Lac County hopes to purchase property for a new Highway garage soon. County executive Al Buechel says if the power company okays an amended easement to address power lines he hopes the county board approves the purchase at their meeting next month. Buechel says the 37 and a half acre site is located at the intersectionof the 151 Bypass and Hickory Street. Buechel says actual construction of a new garage is still several years down the road. Buechel says in addition to highway crews, parks and senior services would be incorporated into the new facility.
