Area fire departments have been busy this weekend responding to several controlled burns that became out of control. Fond du lac area fire departments responded to a number of grass fires on Friday and Saturday. High winds and dry conditions are combining to make the fire danger level high in east central Wisconsin. The DNR has issued another Red Flag alert for extremely high fire conditions in central Wiscosnin. Fond du Lac area fire officials are urging residents to hold off on any outdoor burning until conditions improve.
