SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (AP) — Authorities say a 4-year-old boy has died after being seriously injured at a home in rural Sheboygan County last Friday. The Sheboygan County sheriff’s office said Monday a man has been taken into custody on suspicious of reckless homicide in connection with the boy’s death. The sheriff’s office got a 911 call Friday that the child had been injured in a home-related accident in the Town of Mitchell. The boy was flown to Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee. The sheriff’s office says investigators later learned that the boy had died. Detectives also learned that the child’s injuries may have been inflicted intentionally. No charges have been filed. The child’s name has not been released.
