5-22-15 two people injured in dodge county car crash

Two people were seriously injured in a two vehicle crash in Dodge County Thursday afternoon.  Rescue personnel were called to the scene on US 151 and CTH DE in the township of Calamus.  An Investigation shows that a 28 year of age De Pere woman was southbound on US 151 operating a 2009 Hyundai hatchback.  A 38 year of age Beaver Dam woman was southbound on CTH DE operating a 2013 Dodge Charger when she entered US 151 and was struck by the southbound Hyundai.   The driver of the Hyundai and her passenger, a 30 year of age Oshkosh man, suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries. They were transported to Beaver Dam Community Hospital. The driver of the Charger declined medical care on scene.  The southbound lane of US 151 was closed briefly due to the crash.  The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Beaver Dam EMS and Fire, Beaver Dam Police Department, and the Dodge County Office of Emergency Management.  The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office.
