6-1-15 hwy 151 construction project

Construction will begin this week on a small stretch of Highway 151 in Fond du Lac.  Gov. Scott Walker has approved $625,000 for reconstruction of  point two miles of 151 near the Ducharme Parkway intersection.  Construction will begin Thursday and finish in August.  The project will involve adding the east leg of Ducharme Parkway to the existing three-legged intersection; and installing slotted left-turn lanes on 151.  Left turns and through movements from Ducharme Parkway will be prohibited. Right turns into and out of Ducharme Parkway will still be allowed.  At least one lane of 151 will be open at all times during constructionon.  Traffic on Ducharme Parkway will not have direct access to U.S. 151, and traffic on U.S. 151 will not have access to Ducharme Parkway.
