5-26-15 brandon man bound over for trial on child porn charges

A Brandon man charged with possession of child pornography has been bound over for trial.  Probable cause was found at a preliminary hearing Friday afternoon for 38 year old Scott Knuuttila on ten counts of possession of child pornography.  Knuuttila was a volunteer with the Dodge County Emergency Response team until he was arrested earlier this month.

RLINGTON, Va. (AP) — A Wisconsin soldier reported missing during the Korean War has been buried at Arlington National Cemetery after his remains went unidentified for years.  The burial for Army Cpl. GREENVILLE, Wis. (AP) — The owners of a northeastern Wisconsin zoo say they do not believe a 5-month-old kangaroo and four baby goats that were taken will be found alive.  The animals from Special Memories Zoo in Outagamie County were reported stolen May 7. 5-23-15 man pronounced dead, but then starts moving

MILWAUKEE (AP) — A Milwaukee County medical examiner's report says a 46-year-old man was pronounced dead after collapsing at his Milwaukee apartment, but then started moving his limbs just as he was about to be taken to the morgue.  The report says the man's girlfriend called police Tuesday because she had not heard from him recently. 5-23-15 fdl memorial day parade

The Fond du Lac Memorial Day Parade will be Monday, May 25th, beginning at 10 a.m. on the  corner of Guindon Blvd and S. Main Street, proceeding north to Veterans Park.  The program will begin immediately after the parade. The keynote speaker this year is United States Senator Ron Johnson.   Music during the ceremony will be provided by the Fond du Lac High School Band.

5-23-15 memorial day ceremonies-rosendale and town of byron

Town of Byron veterans will be honored at the annual Memorial Day tribute scheduled for 9:30 a.m.  Monday at  the Byron Town Hall.  Bob Wondra, a local Vietnam veteran, is the keynote speaker.  The morning program also includes unveiling of nine names added to the Veterans Memorial.  The Rosendale Memorial Day celebration begins at 10 a.m.Monday in the Rosendale Intermediate School south gymnasium.

5-23-15 rollover crash south of Fond du lac

Two people were seriously injured in a rollover crash on Highwway 151 in Fond du Lac County.  The accident was reported  at 8:10am Friday in the northbound lanes of 151 near County Highway D just south of Fond du Lac.  Investigators say a pick-up rolled over.  A female occupant was flown by Flight for Life helicopter to the hospital with what were described as serious, traumatic injuries.  A male occupant […]
