6-8-15 two men accused of stealing tens of thousands of dollars from sadoff iron and metal

Two men accused of stealing from the Sadoff Iron and Metal company have been bound over for trial. Donald Krueger of Fond du Lac and Daniel Christenson of Wild Rose waived their preliminary hearings Friday on charges of  theft by false representation.  Fond du Lac police chief  Bill Lamb told WFDL news Krueger worked for Sadoff and Christenson for Fox Valley Metal.  Lamb says the pair is accused of  working together to over-inflate truck weights.  “Putting dirt in the vehicles to make them to make them weigh more,”  Lamb said.  “Krueger alone, having been paid $30,000 to $35,000 for his role through 2015.  We believe that the loss to Sadoff’s in 2015 alone is in excess of $100,000.”    Lamb says the investigation is still “very active, ongoing and far from over.”   Both men are being held in the Fond du lac County Jail on $100,000 cash bond.
