A portion of a downtown Fond du Lac sidewalk is closed as work continues to accommodate a nursing school in the downtown. Public Works director Jordan Skiff says the north sidewalk between the Macy Street Parking Ramp and the Marian Plaza on Main Street is closed due to roofing work occurring at 30 S. Main Street. Skiff says the sidewalk is expected to re-open at the end of the day Wednesday, June 10th. Additionally, the west sidewalk on Main Street north of Sheboygan Street is closed for approximately three weeks during the roof repairs.
