John and Sue Sutter, registered pharmacists and owners of Marshland Pharmacy, along with Kim Miller, FACHE, president and CEO of Beaver Dam Community Hospitals, Inc. (BDCH), announced today the transition of Marshland Pharmacy’s Beaver Dam practice location to be owned and operated by BDCH. The retail pharmacy provides services to patients at 705 S. University Ave., and is located on the first floor of the Vita Park Medical Clinic building inside the Beaver Dam Community Hospital. John and Sue Sutter will continue to operate the Marshland Pharmacy location in Horicon. “We are pleased to transition our Beaver Dam practice to BDCH and know patients will be well served,” shared the Sutters. Miller agreed; sharing, “Patients should see little-to-no changes as we’re extending employment opportunities to existing Marshland Pharmacy employees and will provide the same high-level of pharmacy services as the Sutter’s. The team at BDCH looks forward to expanding upon our current pharmacy services and growing the Vita Park retail location. This acquisition is another example of BDCH’s commitment to providing a full continuum of services to the residents of the region.” The location will continue to operate as Marshland Pharmacy until August 2015 when BDCH assumes operations and changes the name to BDCH Pharmacy.
