A Ripon man was killed when his motorcycle collided with an SUV in Dodge County. The crash happened Tuesday on Highway 151 at the intersection with Hemlock Road. The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office says the Harley Davidson motorcycle was southbound on 151 when it collided with a Toyota Rav-4 that was merging onto the highway from County Highway A. The motorcycle overturned in the median at the intersection with Hemlock Rd., struck a curb and entered the grassy median just south of Hemlock Rd. The motorcycle operator, a 63 year old Ripon man was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet. The driver of the Toyota SUV, a 64 year old Randolph man and his passenger, a 62 year old woman from Randolph were not injured. The Sheriff’s office says unsafe lane change appears to be a factor in this crash.
