Additional details have been released in a fatal kayaking accident on the Horicon Marsh in Horicon. The Horicon Police Department says 62 year old Phillip Clark of Jackson died in the incident on Tuesday. Horicon Police say Clark, his wife, and their grandson had rented two kayaks for a day of sightseeing on the marsh. On their return trip, Clark’s wife noticed Clark in the water. The wife was able to get Clark to shore at the end of Vine Street. Emergency personnel responded and transported Clark to Beaver Dam Community Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The cause of death remains under investigation.
