Fond du Lac Festivals, Inc. announces Angella Antkowiak, as the new junior co-chair for the 2015 Taste of Fond Du Lac, at Lakeside Park. Antkowiak will be working alongside Tad Wallender, senior co-chair for the Taste of Fond du Lac and owner of Fat Joe’s Bar and Grill. Antkowiak was born and raised in the Fond du Lac community. She and her husband, Ed, have 3 kids Ethan, Alexis and Kassidy who all work to manage Ang and Eddies, a Chicago style pizza restaurant in Fond du Lac. Tad Wallender, senior co-chair for the Taste and owner of Fat Joe’s Bar and Grill, has been participating in the Taste for three years, and even won Taste of Fond du Lac’s Best Sandwich in 2013 and 2014. “I hope that Fond du Lac residents and event goers take away the satisfaction of eating great food from local restaurants and businesses from the Taste,” Wallender said. “I think like any business owner or manager, I look forward to learning more about our customers and hearing their immediate feedback about our food.” Taste of Fond du Lac will be held Sunday, August 23 from 12 to 6 p.m. at Lakeside Park.
