MILWAUKEE (AP)  €” The St. Louis Cardinals have acquired reliever Jonathan Broxton from the Milwaukee Brewers, supplementing their bullpen with another veteran. The NL Central-leading Cardinals sent minor league outfielder Malik Collymore to their division rivals. The 31-year-old Broxton has struggled this season in Milwaukee. The right-hander is 1-2 with a 5.89 ERA.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A new report has uncovered hundreds of accessibility problems for the disabled at Wisconsin voting sites.  The state Government Accountability Board conducted inspections at 808 sites over the past seven elections and found nearly 4,000 accessibility problems.  The GAB's report said 42 percent of the violations were serious enough that they could prevent a disabled voter from casting a private and independent ballot. 7-31-15 fdl man charged with child sex assault

A Fond du Lac man accused of sexually assaulting a 12 year old girl has been bound over for trial.  Forty three year old Dennis Nickel Jr. pleaded not guilty to one count each of first degree sexual assault of a child and second degree sexual assault of a child. Nickel is accused of fondling the child on two occasions.at a town of Friendship residence.

7-31-15 body of father who tried to rescue son pulled from lake

TOWN OF WESCOTT, Wis. WIND LAKE, Wis. (AP) — Searchers have found the body of a 77-year-old man in a western Racine County lake.  Wind Lake Fire Chief Rob Robins says the body was found late Thursday morning.
