Fond du Lac police are investigating a report of a suspicious incident involving a man who reportedly grabbed a young girl by the arm. Assistant police chief Steve Klein says the incident occurred around 5:20 PM Monday on Marquette St. just North of East Merrill Ave. in the City of Fond du Lac. Klein says an eight year old girl told police a man grabbed her as she was riding her scooter. She told police the man ran off when she bit him. “As investigators talked with her she then stated that she had been on the playground playing, got bored, and then went around the block and as she came around the corner she apparently rolled over this male subject’s foot with her scooter,” Klein said. The man is described as a white male in his 30s, approximately 5’11” tall, thin build, with brown curly hair that is ear length, wearing dark blue jeans, white t-shirt with stains, and dirty white shoes. No vehicle was associated with this incident.
