The Fond du Lac School superintendent says a budget signed into law this week will result in a loss of about $1.4 million in state aid for the Fond du Lac School District. Superintendent Dr. jim Sebert reported the latest figures at this week’s school board meeting. Sebert says the district will not have to cut any positions or programs in the next budget. He says the district has been able to save money in the past by not filling vacant positions in certain areas by consolidating. Sebert says he was pleased to see the governor veto a measure that would have allowed home school students to participate in public school sports and extra-curricular activities.
