A man accused of running a marijuana grow operation in Green Lake County has been killed in Illinois. Sixty year old William Carlson of Green Lake county has been identified as the victim of a homicide Sunday in River Forest, Illinois. Nearly a week earlier Green Lake County authorities had seized marijuana from the garage of his home. Green Lake County Sheriff’s chief deputy Mark Putzke says the sheriff’s department is working with the River Forest Police Department to learn more about the homicide in Illinois and the alleged growing operation in Green Lake County.
