The issue of allowing Winnebago Lutheran Academy to build new ball diamonds and expand a parking lot in McDermott Park comes back to the Advisory Park board next week for consideration. The city has proposed entering into a 50 year lease agreement with WLA. Responding to concerns raised by neighbors WLA has proposed relocating a proposed parking lot expansion. City manager Joe Moore says that may satisfy some, but probably not all of the neighbors. The park boad meets at 5:30pm Monday at the city-county government center.
