As many as nine people were injured in a four vehicle crash east of Fond du Lac Friday afternoon. The crash happened shortly after 4pm on Highway 23 between 7 Hills Road and County Highway W. Sheriff’s captain Rick Olig says the crash involved an SUV, semi and two other vehicles. “There were two eastbound vehicles, a semi tractor trailer and an SUV. The SUV pulled out to pass, there was oncoming traffic, subsequently the SUV goes under the trailer, spins around gets truck by a westbound vehicle and the westbound vehicle gets struck by another westbound vehicle,” Sheriff’s captain Rick Olig told WFDL news. Olig says none of the injuries appear to be life-threatening. Four ambulances were on the scene and transported the injured to the hospital including several kids in the van, the last vehicle involved.
