Department of Workforce Development Assistant Deputy Secretary Dave Anderson will meet with registered employers and job seekers at the Fox Valley Career Expo on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. The Career Expo will be at the Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds. Unlike most traditional job fairs, Career Expos are open only to employers with current job openings and job seekers who are pre-screened for work readiness in advance. The Fond du Lac Career Expo offers jobs in high demand fields, such as:
* Health care for entry level through advanced positions, including registered nurses with wages from $45,000 to $65,000 a year.
* Manufacturing with positions starting at $11 to $20 per hour.
* Customer Service and Sales with good-paying positions across industries ranging from $11 to $16 per hour.
* Transportation for commercial truck drivers with annual wages starting at $50,000.
