Fond du Lac state representative Jeremy Thiesfeldt says he supports a controversial fetal tissue bill. The bill would ban the sale, donation and use of body parts of fetuses following abortions and require the remains be buried or cremated. Thiesfeldt says videos secretly recorded in California show a Planned Parenthood official discussing the cost of providing fetal body parts for medical research with anti-abortion activists posing as tissue buyers. Democratic state representative Chris Taylor, a former Planned Parenthood official, said the proposal is the result of a smear campaign against the group that would harm health care for women.
