A new report shows there were nearly 240 reports of bullying in the Fond du Lac School District last school year. The annual Climate Report says there were 46 bullying incidents at the elementary level, 150 at the Middle Schools and 41 at Fond du Lac High School. Superintendent Dr. Jim Sebert says a separate survey found 10 percent of 8th, 10th and 11th graders said they did not attend school because they felt unsafe. Sebert says the district continues to address the situation with bullying prevention included in the curriculum. “Some of those (bullying incidents) are going down, some are going up, its a mixed bag. I think its something that’s existed for a long time, but that doesn’t mean its okay.”
