MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The state Department of Natural Resources’ board has expanded the list of projects that don’t require an environmental analysis. The board voted unanimously during a meeting in Horicon on Wednesday to grow the list of so-called minor actions that don’t require an analysis of environmental effects. The list includes construction and renewal permits for minor air pollution sources, construction plans for wastewater treatment plants and dam drawdowns. DNR officials say the proposal will help streamline the agency’s requirements and save money.
