MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Kraft Heinz’s plan to cut hundreds of jobs includes dozens of nonunion positions in Madison. The company has notified state labor officials that 165 jobs will be eliminated at the Oscar Mayer plant. Kraft Heinz said Wednesday it’s cutting about 2,500 jobs as part of its plan to slash costs after the food companies combined. About 700 of the cuts will be in Northfield, Illinois, where Kraft had been headquartered. Kraft and Oscar Mayer have about 1,200 employees in Madison. About half are union members.
