The Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation says it’s a question of fairness. The Bureau is commending Wisconsin Congressmen Reid Ribble and Ron Kind for their efforts to author a bipartisan congressional letter to Canadian officials regarding key agricultural market access issues. Farm Bureau Director of Government Relations Karen Gefvert told WFDL news she’s not holding her breath that Canada will negotiate seriously. Gefvert says the Farm Bureau believes Wisconsin dairy producers need the opportunity to compete in Canada when they are being asked to take on more market competition.
