On Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 1:37am the Fond du Lac County Communications Center received a call of a one vehicle crash on Lap Rd north of Golf Course Rd in the Township of Taycheedah. As a result of the crash, the driver, Jacob W Zielicke, 19 years old rural Mount Calvary man was flown by Theda Star Helicopter to Theda Clark Medical Center.
The passenger, Jake D Treptow, 20 years old from Fond du Lac died at the scene as a result of the crash. The crash remains under investigation.
Responding to the scene were Mt. Calvary Ambulance and Fire, Calumet 1 st Responders, City of Fond du Lac Ambulance and Theda Star Helicopter.
