8-18-15 wisconsin state fair attendance

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (AP) — The Wisconsin State Fair has wrapped up.  The fair tweeted Monday that more than one million people visited the State Fair this year during its 11-day run, which ended Sunday in suburban West Allis.  The fair was on track to sell 400,000 cream puffs, which rivals anything-on-a-stick in popularity.  Fair spokeswoman Kristi Chuckel attendance peaked last Saturday when nearly 137,000 people visited the fair grounds.  The fair added about two dozen new security cameras to the grounds, bringing the total to about 200. Chuckel says there were no security issues this year.
