PORTLAND, Maine (AP) — Federal prosecutors in Maine say a Wisconsin man will spend five years in prison for transporting child pornography. Twenty-three-year-old Ryan Jeremiah Abbott of Plymouth, Wisconsin, will also spend seven years in supervised release. He pleaded guilty in April. Court records say Abbott sent eight emails to an undercover special agent with the federal Department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Maine. Three of the emails contained links to folders maintained on a foreign cloud storage service. Prosecutors say the folders contained dozens of videos depicting children engaged in sexually explicit conduct. The other five emails also attached video files depicting children engaging in sexually explicit conduct. Abbott was then subjected to a search warrant.
