A semi versus semi accident in Dodge County has taken the life of one of the semi drivers. The crash happened at about 2:15 this morning on Intersate 41 north of Highway 49 in the Town of Lomira. The Dodge County Sheriff’s Department says a semi with a tank trailer hauling water was traveling north on I-41 and initiated a U-turn through the median to travel south on I-41. A semi with a box trailer was traveling south on I-41 and struck the tank trailer as it crossed into the southbound traffic lanes. The box trailer semi driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The tank trailer semi driver was uninjured. I-41 southbound traffic remains closed while the crash is being investigated. In Fond du lac, southbound 41 traffic is being detoured onto Highway 151 to Highway 175.
