Fond du Lac County officials hope to hire a new developer soon for a UW-Fond du Lac student housing project. A second Request for Proposals was issued after the developer, Bluffstone, said they were unable to proceed. UW Fond du Lac Dean John Short says a number of proposals are being reviewed. “We are in the process of pre-qualifying the finalists. We expect to have three companies with partners to be identified in the next few days, we expect them to give presentations on August 24th,” Short told WFDL news. Short says a recommendation will go to the County board at their September meeting. Short says the goal is to have the facility ready for the 2016 fall semester.
