Wisconsin Republican congressman Glenn Grothman is one of more than 20 Republicans on a powerful House committee calling for the ouster of the IRS commissioner. The letter asks president Obama to remove IRS commissioner John Koskinen, saying he’s obstructed congressional invstigations into the treatment of conservative groups. “It seems fairly obvious that he is hiding things, he has not been entirely honest with the committee,” Grothman said. The chairman of the House Oversight Committee, representative Jason Chaffetz of Utah also raised the possibility of impeaching Koskinen or voting to hold him in contempt of Congress. Grothman made the comments on AM 1170 WFDL’s Between the Lines program.
