OSHKOSH, Wis. (AP) — A Thrivent Financial adviser in Wisconsin faces charges after police say she stole $400 from a client. Jean Walsh-Josephson of Oshkosh is charged with felony forgery and misdemeanor counts of theft and obstruction. She is free on a signature bond ahead of a court appearance Sept. 3. Lt. Kevin Konrad says Oshkosh police arrested Walsh-Josephson on Aug. 13 after beginning an investigation. In an Oshkosh police news release, Thrivent offered to review client portfolios, and is “in the process” of reviewing each account linked to Walsh-Josephson. The Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions’ Division of Securities suspended Walsh-Josephson’s financial advising registration Thursday.
