A Fond du Lac man involved in an armed domestic standoff last fall has been convicted. Thirty two year old James Walsh pleaded no contest to operating a firearm while intoxicated and disorderly conduct. Charges of recklessly endangering safety and battery were dismissed. Judge Dale English ordered a three year withheld prison sentence and five months in the county jail. Last October Fond du lac County Sheriff’s deputies responded after receiving a report of shots fired at a residence on Lost Arrow Road. The SWAT team was called and Walsh was taken into custody without further incident after about a five hour standoff. Nobody was injured,.
