Four students and a school bus driver received minor injuries Friday when the bus veered off a road a struck a utility pole in Dodge County. The crash happened on Highway G near Hillview Drive In the town of Beaver Dam. A preliminary investigation shows that the bus driver, 49 year old Robert Grau, from Beaver Dam, was operating a Johnson School Bus traveling east on Cth G when the bus went off of the roadway and struck a utility pole. The bus was transporting 21 students from the Beaver Dam Unified School District, 4 of which sustained minor injuries but were not transported by EMS. Grau sustained minor injuries and was transported to Beaver Dam Hospital. The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office.
